At our school, student wellbeing and learning go hand in hand. We embed programs that foster strong relationships and sense of belonging because we want every student to feel safe, included and ready to learn.

Whether your child needs help with their mental, emotional, social or physical wellbeing, we are here to help them thrive at school and in daily life.

How we support student wellbeing

Supporting each student’s mental, emotional, social and physical wellbeing is part of our everyday school life.

Our Wellbeing Team

All staff at Ballina Coast High School have student wellbeing as their priority. We also have a specialist and experienced wellbeing team to lead and guide us, and a warm, welcoming wellbeing centre where students can drop in anytime they need someone to talk to.

Our wellbeing team includes a student support officer, school psychologists and a wellbeing and health in-reach nurse (WHIN).
