Our school uniform
At Ballina Coast High School, we encourage all students to wear the full school uniform to demonstrate pride in our school and promote equity among all students.
Junior Students (Years 7-10):
- Students may choose between a navy polo shirt or a dress shirt.
- Bottoms include navy shorts or skirts, which must be plain with no stripes or logos.
- A navy undershirt may be worn underneath.
Senior Students (Years 11-12):
- Students may choose between a white polo shirt or a white dress shirt.
- Bottoms include navy shorts or skirts, plain with no stripes or logos.
- A white undershirt may be worn underneath.
General Requirements:
- Skirts and shorts must be of a reasonable fit and length, approximately mid-thigh.
- In winter, students may wear navy stockings under skirts, navy pants, or the school tracksuit.
- Sports shirts are permitted for PDHPE practical lessons and sporting activities.
- The school jacket and hoodie are available for purchase through School Locker. Alternatively, students may wear a plain, generic navy jumper or jacket with no stripes or logos.
- BCHS representative jumpers may also be worn.
- A school shirt or polo must be worn at all times.
- Jeans and tights are not permitted as part of the uniform.

Purchase the uniform
School uniforms can be purchased from School Locker.
Additionally, navy blue items such as jumpers, tracksuit pants, shorts, and skirts are also available at major retailers including Kmart, Big W, and Best & Less.
Want to donate your old school uniforms?
We welcome donations of old school uniforms to support our school community. If you have any uniforms you no longer need, please consider donating them back to us.
We also offer a uniform swap program, allowing students to exchange sizes based on the availability of stock on hand.
