Bronze Medallion

Students to complete swim survival and bronze medallion course,

Completion of this course will also allow students to participate in aquatic components for the Term 2 Coastal Outdoor Recreation unit.

Six practical sessions on Thursdays during timetabled lessons:- 3rd March, 10th March, 17th March, 24th March, 31st March and 7th April. Students will also complete a snorkeling course to gain vital skills and experience needed to snorkel and free dive.

Students will be required to meet at the start of each break prior to the timetabled lesson, allowing time to walk to the Pool. Students are to follow BCHS behaviour guidelines and follow instructions of both BCHS and Ballina Pool staff. Failure of students to meet expectations of the course will result in students being removed from this opportunity and presented with an alternate theory unit of work to complete.
