Australian National Schools Basketball Championships

Description: The Australian National Schools Basketball Championships is the pinnacle event for school basketball in Australia that sees secondary schools from around Australia travel and compete in a week-long event.This event is being held on the Gold Coast at Carrara stadium from Sunday the 1st of December through to the final day of Friday the 5th of December.

Ballina Coast High School's Targeted Sports Basketball Program will have 2 teams representing at this event (1 Junior boys teams and 1 Open Boys team). To keep costs as low as possible, Ballina Coast High School will travel by the BCHS 22 seat mini-bus and 12 seat van on a daily basis to and from the venue. The times will depend on the teams scheduled draw and therefore travel times will be confirmed at a later date. Parents can organise own transport and accommodation for their child, however, must confirm and provide details to the school.
