Yr 10 Outdoor Education Moreton Island Expedition

Description: Year 10 Outdoor Education students are presented with the opportunity to complete a 5 day & 4 night expedition on Moreton Island. (Monday 25th - Friday 29th November). Students will be camping at the Wrecks Campground 25th - 26th before hiking to South-West Zone campground - Tangalooma Point and camping the night of the 27th. A return hike and final nights accommodation at the Wrecks campground 28th. Students have completed swim survival training, first aid, navigation, expedition planning, bush craft and practice walks in preparation for the trip. A detailed pack list and expedition details will be provided to students and parents/ carers prior to the expedition date.
